Israel severs Gaza’s internet and phone lines again in latest act of suppression

GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Less than 48 hours after partial restoration, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) have once again severed internet and landline communications in central and southern Gaza.

The Palestinian Telecommunications Company reported on Monday that disruptions stemmed from repeated damage to key infrastructure routes caused by the ongoing genocide targeting the besieged population.

The Telecommunications Regulatory Authority confirmed that it is coordinating with service providers to assess damage and push for swift restoration. It urged that technical teams be granted safe access to repair sites, emphasizing that continued service is vital amid worsening humanitarian conditions.

The GMO stressed that these blackouts hinder medical and rescue teams from reaching the wounded and retrieving the martyrs, risking further loss of life.

It reiterated that such outages are not technical accidents but calculated acts to silence the Gaza Strip during the ongoing war of extermination.
