BEIRUT, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), A new Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon has killed five people, bringing the total death toll to 1,238.
On Sunday evening, an Israeli airstrike killed five individuals and injured two others in the town of Shaqra in southern Lebanon, as part of the ongoing military escalation in the region.
Lebanon’s Ministry of Health reported that the airstrike directly targeted the town, resulting in casualties and damage to the surrounding area.
The ministry added that this incident is part of a series of strikes hitting southern regions amid an intensifying pace of military operations in recent days.
In the same context, the Ministry of Health announced that the total number of victims from Israeli attacks on Lebanon since March 2 has risen to 1,238 killed and 3,543 injured.
Southern Lebanon continues to face escalating Israeli airstrikes and bombardment, leading to more casualties and worsening humanitarian conditions in the affected areas.
