An Israeli drone strike targeted a car on the Burj Rahal–Abbasiya road in southern Lebanon, killing one person and injuring another, Lebanese media reported on Wednesday.
The strike reportedly sparked panic among students at nearby schools, prompting parents to take their children home.
Despite a November 2024 ceasefire with Hezbollah, the Israeli occupation army maintains troops in five areas in southern Lebanon and has launched regular deadly airstrikes since then.
