BEIRUT, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), At least 11 civilians were martyred and 23 others were injured at dawn Wednesday following Israeli airstrikes on southern and eastern Lebanon, according to the latest local news reports.
Earlier, Lebanese state media said an Israeli strike on a four-story apartment building in the eastern town of Baalbek killed at least four people and wounded six others.
In the villages of Aramoun and Saadiyat south of Beirut, the health ministry said Israeli strikes killed six people and wounded eight others, warning that this was a preliminary toll.
The targeted towns are located outside the traditional strongholds of Hezbollah, according to the state media.
Another Israeli strike also hit a hotel in the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
Meanwhile, World Health Organization chief Tedros Ghebreyesus condemned the killing of three paramedics in an earlier Israeli attack on the southern Tyre district.
The Lebanese death toll from Monday at dawn until Wednesday at dawn has risen to 60 martyrs and 349 wounded, according to the Anadolu news agency.
