GAZA, (The Palestine Information Centre)The Israeli occupation army carried out a small-scale incursion into the east of central Gaza under protection from other military units on Thursday morning.
According to local sources, six bulldozers escorted by two tanks and one armored personnel carrier advanced from an Israeli military post behind the border fence towards agricultural plots of land in the east of al-Maghazi refugee camp.
The heavy machinery embarked on leveling and digging swaths of agricultural land in the area, which is located a few meters away from the border fence.
Meanwhile, other military vehicles were moving behind the security fence while some drones were seen overflying the border area to provide more protection for the infiltrating units.
A similar incursion happened on Wednesday morning in the east of Gaza City.
The eastern border areas of Gaza are repeatedly exposed to Israeli military incursions and gunfire attacks, which cause considerable damage to crops and prevent farmers from working their lands.
