The Israeli occupation army carried out a limited incursion into the northeast of the Gaza Strip border on Monday morning.
Local sources said that several armored bulldozers advanced from a military post into a border area in the east of Beit Hanoun town in northern Gaza.
They added that the heavy machinery embarked on leveling and digging swaths of agricultural land, which are located several meters away from the border fence
Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters toward swaths of cultivated land in the east of Khan Yunis, south of Gaza. No one was reportedly hurt in the IOF attack.
The eastern border areas of Gaza are repeatedly exposed to Israeli military incursions and gunfire attacks, which cause considerable damage to crops and prevent farmers from working their lands.
