AL-KHALIL, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation army continued its military campaign in the city of al‑Khalil for the third straight day, carrying out raids, detentions, and summonses.
According to Palestinian media sources, Israeli forces kidnaped seven citizens from the southern area of al-Khalil City after storming and ransacking their homes.
Israeli forces transferred all the detainees to an unknown location after severely beating them, while continuing for the third consecutive day to block several roads in southern al-Khalil with barriers, concrete blocks, and mounds of dirt and rocks.
The forces also set up multiple military checkpoints at the entrances of al-Khalil City, its towns, villages, and refugee camps, and closed a number of main and side roads, amid curfews in some areas.
Recently, the Israeli army summoned around 25 elders and family representatives in southern al‑Khalil, warning that its military operation would continue until weapons held by citizens and families were collected and handed over.
However, those who were summoned refused to comply with the Israeli army’s demand, saying they had no authority to do so.
