GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), A Palestinian young man was killed in the east of Gaza City on Saturday, amid renewed Israeli ceasefire violations in different areas of the war-ravaged territory.
A medical source reported that Haroun Bahar, 27, was shot dead by the Israeli occupation forces near the bombed site of the bus station in Gaza City’s Shuja’iya neighborhood.
Later, an 11-year-old girl identified as Fatima Marouf was killed by IOF gunfire in Beit Lahia town, north of Gaza.
Another citizen also sustained a bullet injury in his abdomen near Nasser Hospital in western Khan Yunis.
Meanwhile, local sources reported that Israeli warplanes carried out three airstrikes east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, while helicopters and tanks opened fire towards the city’s eastern areas.
An Israeli fighter jet also launched an airstrike east of Deir al‑Balah in central Gaza, while a strike was reported in the east of Gaza City.
Another airstrike targeted a site in Rafah, south of Gaza, amid intensive gunfire from ground forces and gunboats.
Last night, a medical source at al‑Shifa Hospital in Gaza City reported that four Palestinians, including a woman and two children, sustained serious injuries after an Israeli drone dropped a bomb on a tent sheltering a displaced family outside the Israeli army deployment areas, particularly in al‑Atatira neighborhood of Beit Lahia, northern Gaza. The attack was followed by artillery shelling targeting the same area.
