WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation army has imposed a “comprehensive lockdown” on the West Bank and east Jerusalem on the first anniversary of Operation “al-Aqsa Flood,” which happened on October 7, 2023.
According to the Hebrew media, the Israeli military authorities will establish on Monday a “complete security perimeter” around the West Bank through closing crossing points into Israel to prevent the passage of Palestinian workers and imposing movement restrictions.
The Israeli army also decided to increase the presence of its forces and military checkpoints in the West Bank and across all fronts.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army launched last night large-scale raids in different Palestinian towns and villages in the West Bank, amid reports of settler violence in some areas.
Resistance fighters and local youths reportedly clashed with Israeli forces in some West Bank areas.
