Israeli army razes Palestinian structures in JV and Ramallah

WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation army demolished on Monday morning residential and agricultural structures in the northern Jordan Valley and eastern Ramallah in the West Bank.

According to local sources in Tubas, Israeli bulldozers escorted by Israeli forces knocked down two residential rooms belonging to a local resident at the pretext of unlicensed construction.

The Palestinian communities and hamlets in the northern Jordan Valley have been seeing daily and growing Israeli violations at the hands of Israeli forces and settlers with the aim of displacing them from their areas. These violations include raiding and destroying tents and homes of local residents, intimidating and assaulting them, and stealing their property and livestock.

Recently, the Israeli army bulldozed what remained of the Bedouin community of Umm al-Jimal in the northern Jordan Valley after forcibly displacing its residents. The last family living in this community was expelled two months ago after 13 local families had been displaced from the area about three months ago.

The Umm al-Jimal community joined several Bedouin hamlets that were ethnically cleansed by Israeli forces from the northern Jordan Valley in the past year.

In a separate incident that happened today, the Israeli army demolished a room and walls used for agricultural purposes in Deir Dibwan village, east of Ramallah. The razed structures belonged to Rashad Saud.
