SALFIT (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation army demolished two Palestinian homes in Salfit province, north of the West Bank, on Tuesday at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
According to local sources, Israeli forces encircled two houses in Iskaka town, east of Salfit, before bulldozers embarked on knocking them down.
The demolished houses, which had been built several years ago, belonged to two brothers from the family of Harb.
As is the case in Jerusalem, Palestinian houses and structures in the West Bank are a frequent target for demolition as the Israeli occupation authority makes it impossible for Palestinian citizens to obtain building permits.
