WEST BANK, (The Palestine Information Centre) About two weeks after his release, the Israeli occupation army summoned senior Hamas official Hasan Youssef for interrogation on Thursday at the Ofer military base in Ramallah.
Youssef, who is also a lawmaker, had been released on July 9 following 20 months in Israeli jails.
The last time he was taken prisoner happened on December 13, 2021, after Israeli forces raided his home in Beitunia town, west of Ramallah.
He had spent a total of 24 years in Israeli jails, mostly in administrative detention.
He suffers from some chronic health problems, including diabetes and hypertension, and needs special medical care, according to his family.
