Gaza under fire: Ceasefire breaches persist with fresh Israeli attacks

GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation army launched fresh attacks in different areas of the Gaza Strip on Tuesday morning, as part of ongoing daily ceasefire violations.

According to Palestinian media sources, Israeli warplanes carried out strikes in the east of Khan Yunis, south of Gaza, while an airstrike was reported in the east of Gaza City.

Israeli tanks also opened machinegun fire in the north of Rafah, south of Gaza, while an artillery attack happened in the southeast of al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

On Monday, Israeli forces shot and killed a civilian in Gaza City’s ash-Shuja’iya neighborhood, and used a drone to bomb a gathering of citizens in the east of al-Bureij camp, injuring two of them.

The Israeli army also carried out on Monday evening a large-scale demolition operation targeting several residential buildings in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.

According to media sources, Israeli forces used explosives to destroy residential buildings east of Khan Yunis, causing massive material damage in the targeted areas.

The sources added that the Israeli army launched yesterday artillery attacks on the eastern areas of Jabalia in northern Gaza, while its tanks opened fire towards Gaza City’s al-Tuffah neighborhood, as part of an ongoing escalation on the ground.
