Israeli ceasefire violations claim life of another child in Gaza

GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out renewed attacks across the Gaza Strip on Wednesday, marking day 83 of ceasefire violations, while another Palestinian child died when a wall collapsed on a tent in the south.

According to local sources, a child was martyred and others were injured when a wall from a war-damaged building collapsed onto a tent sheltering a displaced family in al-Mawasi area of Rafah, south of Gaza, on Tuesday.

Earlier on the same day, the IOF opened fire at an 11-year-old girl child in Gaza City’s al-Zarqa area, killing her instantly.

At dawn Wednesday, Israeli helicopters opened machinegun fire towards Rafah, while an airstrike was reported in the same area.

The Israeli army also carried out artillery and shooting attacks on the eastern parts of Khan Yunis, south of Gaza.

Meanwhile, Israeli tanks fired some projectiles and a hail of bullets towards the southeastern areas of al-Maghazi and al-Bureij refugee camps in central Gaza.

Airstrikes and artillery shelling also took place in northern Gaza and other areas.
