Israeli fire leaves three Palestinians wounded

NABLUS, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Three Palestinians were injured Monday evening following an Israeli military raid and settler attacks in areas east of Nablus in the northern West Bank.

Imad Ahmad, director of the Red Crescent’s Emergency and Ambulance Center in Nablus, said medical teams treated two young men, aged 18 and 35, who were shot with live ammunition. One was hit in the foot and the other in the thigh during the raid on the city’s eastern area. Both were transferred to the hospital for treatment.

He also reported that a 16-year-old boy was injured after being beaten during a settler attack on the village of Deir al-Hatab, where he received on-site medical care.

Israeli forces stormed the eastern part of Nablus, firing live ammunition, stun grenades, and tear gas along Jerusalem Street, while settlers simultaneously attacked Deir al-Hatab and assaulted residents.

The incident comes amid escalating violence in the area. A similar attack the previous day left nine Palestinians injured and resulted in several homes and vehicles being set on fire.
