WEST BANK,  (The Palestine Foundation Pakistan) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens, including ex-detainees and a journalist during raids in the West Bank last night and at dawn Thursday.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped Ahmed al-Saifi, an ex-detainee, after ransacking his home in Birzeit town, north of Ramallah. His wedding was scheduled to take place the following day.
Saifi was released a few months ago as part of a prisoner exchange deal with the Palestinan resistance in Gaza after spending 16 years in Israeli jails.
Two other ex-detainees were also kidnaped by the IOF from their homes in Abu Shukhaydam town, north of Ramallah.
In al-Khalil, Israeli forces kidnaped journalist Musaab Qafisha from his home in the city. He was released from an Israeli jail a year ago.
The journalist was also arrested several weeks ago by the Palestinian Authority security forces.
The IOF also kidnaped another citizen from al-Khalil City and two others from al-Shuyukh town, northeast of al-Khalil.
In Bethlehem, Israeli forces stormed Aida refugee camp and kidnaped two citizens after ransacking their homes.
In Qalqilya, the IOF kidnaped one citizen from the city and a woman from Baqat al-Hatab village.
In Nablus, two citizens were taken prisoner during IOF raids in Khilat al-Amud area near the city and Kafr Qallil town.
A young man reportedly suffered gunshot wounds during an IOF raid near an-Najah University in Nablus City.
The IOF also raided homes and apartment buildings in different areas of Nablus City, with no reported arrests.
In east Jerusalem, Israeli policemen kidnaped a child at the checkpoint of Shuafat refugee camp.
Last night, police forces and extremist settlers stormed Jerusalem’s Hathroura community and assaulted local residents.
Local sources reported that over 15 citizens from the community were assaulted and detained by soldiers and settlers.
In another incident, a horde of extremist settlers escorted by soldiers attacked Palestinian vehicles traveling on a road near Deir Nidham village, northwest of Ramallah.
A number of cars sustained damage and some passengers suffered from minor injuries during the settler attack.
