WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped several Palestinian citizens, including women, during raids in the West Bank last night and at dawn Thursday.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped at least 17 citizens following raids on homes in different areas of Nablus province.
In Qalqilya, local sources said that more than 11 citizens were taken prisoner during IOF raids on homes in Jayyus village.
Four women were also taken prisoner during IOF raids in Tulkarem City, Deir Ghassana village in northern Ramallah, Tamun town in southern Tubas, and al-Fawwar refugee camp in southern al-Khalil.
Last night, Israeli forces shot and wounded a young man at the southern entrance of al‑Khalil. He was later evacuated to a hospital for medical assistance.
In another incident last night, Israeli forces raided the home of freed prisoner Musaab Dawiyat in the east Jerusalem town of Sur Baher and assaulted his father just one day after his release.
Local sources reported that Israeli soldiers expelled visitors who had come to congratulate the ex-detainee’s family, ransacked the house, and assaulted Dawiyat’s father.
