A Palestinian man was fatally shot by Israeli occupation forces on Thursday evening near Salfit town in the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Health Ministry confirmed that 39-year-old Ahmed Taha was shot dead by Israeli occupation soldiers at point-blank range near Salfit.
Videos of the shooting circulating on social media show an Israeli occupation soldier asking the Palestinian man to get out of his car at gunpoint, and as soon as the man got out of the car, the soldier fired live bullets at him, killing him on the spot.
Israeli occupation forces alleged Taha, a resident of the town of Bidya in Salfit, had attempted to stab Israeli soldiers at a junction outside the illegal Israeli settlement of Ariel.
At least 105 Palestinians have been killed by the Israeli occupation forces so far this year, including an elderly woman and 18 children.
