WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) ransacked several homes and kidnaped a number of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank last night and on Monday morning.
According to local sources, the IOF kidnaped three young men from Teqoa town in the southeast of Bethlehem, and two others from the towns of Huwara and Asira ash‑Shamaliya in Nablus province.
Two other young men were taken prisoner during IOF raids in al-Khalil City and al-Fawwar refugee camp, south of al-Khalil.
The IOF reportedly closed several roads in different areas of al-Khalil province in the morning.
In Nablus, Israeli forces continued their repressive practices by forcing storeowners in the town of Huwara to close their businesses at gunpoint.
In Jenin, Israeli forces kidnaped a young man from Ya’bad town.
Al‑Baidar Human Rights Organization also reported that Israeli forces kidnaped six Palestinians after extremist Jewish settlers stormed the village of Bardala in the northern Jordan Valley and assaulted them.
Al-Baidar said that Bardala villagers were defending themselves and their sheep pens after settlers attacked the village.
Meanwhile, Asra Media Office said that the IOF kidnaped at least nine citizens, including teenagers, following raids on homes in different West Bank areas.
In Tulkarem, Israeli troops stormed the city’s Iktaba suburb, spread in its streets, and intercepted citizens and cars for security checks.
The IOF also carried out raids in other West Bank areas, with no reported arrests.
In a separate incident, an Israeli court issued a ruling on Sunday ordering the immediate demolition of a two‑story Palestinian home in the town of al‑Khader, west of Bethlehem, under the pretext of building without a permit.
