WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed on Saturday different areas of the West Bank, where they reportedly kidnaped Palestinian citizens and assisted settlers in their attacks.
In the northern West Bank, Israeli forces stormed several towns and villages in the province of Jenin, including al‑Yamun, where they raided and searched many homes.
They also stormed the village of Deir Abu Da’if, where they raided homes and interrogated residents. IOF raids also took place in the town of Beit Qad and Jenin City.
In the southern West Bank, Israeli forces stormed the town of al‑Khader south of Bethlehem, spreading in the al‑Yamama area and at al‑Balou rotary, without making arrests.
In Salfit, Israeli forces stormed several neighborhoods of the city, breaking into and ransacking several homes.
Three young men were taken prisoner after Israeli forces raided their homes in Salfit City.
Meanwhile, a group of extremist settlers assaulted shepherds in the hamlet of Ezbet Maghar al‑Asmar area north of Deir Istiya, beating them and setting dogs on their sheep.
Local sources from the area said Israeli forces later stormed the site, detaining several shepherds for hours before kidnaping one of them.
The sources added that Israeli forces searched the hamlet, vandalized property, broke doors, and damaged water tanks and feed troughs.
In Masafer Yatta, south of al-Khalil, Israeli forces kidnaped an elderly citizen called Mahmoud al‑Hamamda from the village of al‑Mufaqra following a similar settler attack against shepherds.
The forces also detained a foreign activist and several residents, while firing stun grenades and tear gas canisters in the village.
In Qalqilya, the IOF kidnaped a young man after storming the village of Hajja east of the city and searching his home.
