Israeli forces raid West Bank, several Palestinians kidnapped

WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched an arrest campaign across various areas of the West Bank and Jerusalem, raiding homes and kidnaping several Palestinian citizens last night and at dawn Wednesday.

In al-Khalil, the IOF kidnaped at least 12 citizens during raids in different areas. Among those detained are MP Hatem Qafisha and journalist Musaab Qafisha.

In Tubas, the IOF kidnaped two young men from the city and three others from Tamun town.

In Jenin, Israeli forces kidnaped two young brothers from Ya’bad town and another young man from the Wadi Izzuddin area of the city.

In Nablus, two young men were taken prisoner following IOF raids on homes in the village of al-Badhan and the town of Tal.

Meanwhile, Israeli soldiers stormed a house in Nablus during the pre‑dawn meal (suhoor), detained its residents, and stole their food.

Israeli forces also raided the town of Biddya, west of Salfit, and carried out a campaign of arrests, and kidnaped a young man from his home in the al‑Masyoun neighborhood of Ramallah.

Last night, dozens of Palestinian citizens suffered from exposure to tear gas after Israeli forces attacked them following the Tarawih prayers in the town of Nahalin, west of Ramallah.

According to local sources in Nahalin, the IOF has continued, for the second consecutive day, to raid homes in the town, restrict the movement of residents and their cars, and photograph them and their ID cards.
