GAZA, (The Palestine Foundation Pakistan)
The Israeli occupation army carried out several airstrikes east of Khan Yunis, south of Gaza, on Thursday morning, while civil defense crews recovered the bodies of three martyrs and evacuated 15 wounded people from the area, following a bloody day in which 28 citizens were killed and dozens injured.
The Palestinian Information Center (PIC) reporter said that the Israeli army launched several airstrikes east of Khan Yunis early this morning, accompanied by heavy artillery shelling.
Meanwhile, the civil defense service said that its crews recovered the bodies of three martyrs and evacuated 15 wounded people from the Abu Sabt and Sahmoud families following an Israeli strike on a house in the Bani Suheila area east of Khan Yunis.
The civil defense added that its crews were able to evacuate a wounded civilian from the Johor ad-Dik area in the southeast of Gaza City after coordinating with the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
On Wednesday, medical sources in Gaza hospitals reported the death of 28 civilians, including 17 children and one woman, and the injury of 77 others in Israeli attacks on Gaza City and Khan Yunis, in glaring violations of the ceasefire agreement that came into effect on October 10.
