WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), A Palestinian teenager was shot and killed by Israeli occupation forces near the northern checkpoint in Qalqilya, in the occupied West Bank, on Monday evening.
Another young man was critically injured after Israeli forces opened fire in the city earlier that same evening.
Medical sources reported that 18-year-old Mohammad Kamal Shreim, a resident of Qalqilya, was shot while near the separation barrier in the vicinity of the northern checkpoint. He was later pronounced dead from his injuries.
According to the same sources, he sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and was transferred to Darwish Nazzal Hospital in Qalqilya, where his condition was initially described as critical.
