WASHINGTON (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has officially joined former U.S. President Donald Trump’s Gaza Board of Peace.
The announcement came following Netanyahu’s meeting with Trump at the White House yesterday, where he formally expressed Israel’s participation in the board.
During his visit to Washington, Netanyahu also signed documents with U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, confirming Israel’s agreement to become a member of the peace initiative.
In a statement issued after the meeting, Trump noted that no final decisions were made during the discussions, but emphasized that if a deal with Iran becomes possible, it would remain the U.S.’s top priority.
