GALILEE, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), A Palestinian teen was killed on Wednesday evening after being shot by Israeli police in the town of Kabul in the Galilee, following a pursuit inside the town. He had been reported in critical condition before being pronounced dead.
Medical teams transported the injured youth to the Galilee Medical Center in Nahariya, where he later succumbed to his wounds.
Local sources identified the victim as Ahmad Mohammad Ashqar, 18.
Following the incident, clashes broke out between local youths and Israeli police forces, during which several arrests were reported.
In a separate incident, a boy was injured by Israeli gunfire during a raid on the town of Kobar, northwest of Ramallah, in the central occupied West Bank.
According to local sources, Israeli occupation forces entered the town with multiple military vehicles, triggering confrontations. Soldiers fired live ammunition at residents, resulting in a 17-year-old being shot in the thigh.
The Palestine Red Crescent Society confirmed that its teams treated the injured teen and transferred him to the hospital for further medical care.
