OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation police placed freed Jerusalemite prisoner Ahmad Manasra, 23, under house arrest until next Sunday, preventing him from celebrating his release after spending nine and a half years in Israeli jails.
Manasra was released on Thursday after completing his prison term. He was arrested at the age of 13 and later was sentenced for being present with his cousin Hassan Manasra, who stabbed two Jewish settlers near the illegal settlement of Pisgat Ze’ev in east Jerusalem in 2015 before he was shot dead.
Immediately after his release, he was summoned to a police center in Jerusalem, where officers informed him of a decision to place him under house arrest until Sunday with a refundable bail of 3,000 shekels.
