AL-KHALIL, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), A six year old Palestinian child was injured in the head on Friday after being deliberately run over by an Israeli settler in Masafer Yatta, south of al-Khalil.
Activist Osama Makhmara reported that a settler from the Carmel settlement, built on Palestinian land, intentionally ran over Suwar al Hathalin while she was playing in front of her family’s home in Khirbet Umm al Khair, Masafer Yatta.
She sustained head injuries and was transferred by Red Crescent crews to a nearby hospital, he added.
In a related incident, a group of armed settlers attacked Palestinian homes in the Hamroush area of Sa’ir town, firing live bullets at them. Israeli occupation forces entered the area to provide protection for the settlers, launching tear gas canisters at residents who tried to resist. No injuries or arrests were reported.
