NABLUS (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Extremist Israeli settlers raided large areas of Palestinian lands in the village of Burin, south of Nablus in the northern West Bank, on Wednesday and torched olive trees.
Nimr al-Tirawi, a resident of the town, reported that Israeli occupation forces prevented the citizens from reaching their lands to put out the fire.
Al-Tirawi pointed out that the fire burnt thousands of olive trees and extended to large areas of land, adding that the fire is still blazing until the moment of writing this news, according to Sanad news agency.
The West Bank towns which are surrounded by Israeli illegal settlements are continuously subjected to Israeli settlers’ attacks and violations.
