BEIRUT,(Palestine Foundation Information Center) 12 people were killed and eight others injured Tuesday in Israeli airstrikes targeting a Syrian refugee camp and an artesian well drilling vehicle in the Wadi Fa’ra highlands in eastern Lebanon, according to Lebanese security and official sources.
The official Lebanese National News Agency (NNA) reported that Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes on the Wadi Fa’ra area, one of which targeted a camp for Syrian refugees, resulting in 12 deaths, including seven Syrians, while eight others were injured.
Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes also launched raids on the southern border region, the western and eastern mountain ranges, as well as the Brital highlands of Lebanon, according to NNA.
Lebanese security sources said that the Israeli occupation army “launched 13 airstrikes Tuesday on eastern Lebanon and one drone strike on southern Lebanon.”
