Gaza (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against Israel and its Western backers amid the regime’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, which has claimed the lives of more than 22,000 Palestinians, mostly children and women.
The operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Wednesday, January 3, are as follows:
Qassam Brigades’ operations on Jan. 3:
- Bombarded a gathering of vehicles and soldiers in Khan Yunis with mortar shells.
- Shot down a Hermes 900 with the Mujahideen Brigades east of Gaza City.
- Together with the Quds Brigade, targeted a gathering of vehicles east of Al-Tuffah and Al-Daraj neighborhoods with mortar shells.
- Took control of an Israeli drone during a mission south of the Al-Zaytoun neighborhood in Gaza City.
- Targeted vehicles and soldiers with mortar shells east of the Al-Tuffah and Al-Daraj neighborhoods in Gaza City again.
- Targeted a tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell in Sheikh Ajlin in Gaza City.
- Targeted a command headquarters and soldiers east of Jabal al-Rais with mortar shells.
- Targeted a bulldozer and tank with a “Shuath” device and an “Al-Yassin 105” shell east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City.
- Targeted a D9 bulldozer with an Al-Yassin 105 shell east of Khan Yunis.
- Detonated two anti-personnel devices among an infantry force of 7 soldiers east of Khuza’a in the southern Gaza Strip, causing deaths and injuries.
- Targeted a tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell in Khan Yunis.
- Together with the Mujahideen Brigades, launched a surface-to-air missile towards a helicopter east of Khan Yunis.
- Targeted a Merkava tank with an Al-Yassin 105 shell in Khan Yunis.
- Detonated an anti-personnel device among a group of soldiers in Khan Yunis, causing deaths and injuries.
Al-Quds Brigades operations on Jan. 3:
- Sniped 2 Zionist soldiers in the northern axis of Al-Bureij camp, confirming the killing of one and injuring the other.
- Shelled military formations around Imam Ali Mosque in Maan, east of Khan Yunis, with 60mm caliber mortars.
- Destroyed a Merkava tank with a high-explosive (Thaqeb) device, in the northeastern axis of Khan Yunis.
- Targeted a Merkava tank in the northeastern axis of Khan Yunis.
- In a joint operation with Al-Qassam Brigades, shelled a Zionist convoy with 60mm caliber regular mortars, in the northern axis of Khan Yunis.
Martyr Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades operations on Jan. 3:
- Targeted a gathering of IOF soldiers holed up in a building, behind Barqouq Castle, in central Khan Yunis with an RPG.
Martyr Omar Al-Qassem Brigades operations on Jan. 3:
- Clashed with IOF forces, east of the al-Bureij camp, and inflicted deaths and injuries.
- Sniped a Zionist soldier in the vicinity of the Sheikh Radwan market in Gaza City and confirmed a direct hit.
- Launched an RPG at one of the military vehicles penetrating east of Al-Maghazi camp, hitting it directly.
- Downed an IOF reconnaissance drone belonging to the special force, on the northern outskirts of the Al-Shati camp.
- Lured a Zionist infantry force into a well-prepared ambush on the outskirts of the Al-Shati camp, where a land mine was detonated, followed by close-range engagement with the remaining members of this unit using appropriate weapons, with confirmed deaths & injuries.
Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades operations on Jan. 3:
- Shelled IOF soldiers in Khan Younis city with a barrage of mortars.
- Targeted a military D9-bulldozer in the axis of Khan Younis, with an RPG, confirming the killing of its crew.
Hezbollah’s operations on Jan. 3:
Eastern sector:
- At 15:50, Israeli soldiers were targeted at the Bayad Blida site with a Burkan missile.
- At 16:00, Israeli soldiers were targeted in the vicinity of the Zibdin barracks in Shebaa Farms with a Burkan missile.
- At 16:00, Israeli soldiers were targeted in the vicinity of the Ruwaisat al-Alam site in Shebaa.
- At 16:44, Israeli soldiers were targeted in the vicinity of the Ruwaisat al-Alam site in Shebaa.
Western sector:
- At 13:15, the Zarit barracks was targeted.
- At 13:15, the Jal al-Alam site was targeted.
- At 15:40, Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Al-Malikiyah site were targeted with a Burkan missile.
- At 16:30, Israeli soldiers were targeted in the vicinity of the Doviev Barracks.
- At 17:25, Israeli soldiers behind the Jal al-Alam site were targeted.
- At 18:00, the Beranit barracks were targeted with missiles.
- At 20:55, a gathering of Israeli soldiers was targeted at the Birkat Risha site.
Yemeni military’s operations on Jan. 3:
- Targeted the “CMA CGM TAGE” ship that was heading to Israeli ports (weapon not specified, CENTCOM claims ASBM).
