JENIN, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a wide arrest campaign across the West Bank last night and on Monday morning, mainly in the town of Silat al‑Dhahr, south of Jenin.
The Palestinian Prisoner Society (PPS) reported that the IOF kidnaped at least 15 young men in Silat al‑Dhahr, with soldiers still raiding homes and spreading throughout the town’s neighborhoods.
PPS noted that among those arrested were four brothers from the family of Hantouli.
Another young man was kidnaped by the IOF from his home in Arraba town, south of Jenin.
In Tulkarem, Israeli forces kidnaped three citizens following raids on homes in the eastern neighborhood of Tulkarem City.
Israeli forces also stormed the city of Nablus with several military vehicles, entering the eastern area through the Beit Furik checkpoint before heading to the old Askar refugee camp east of the city, amid ongoing military activity in the area.
In Bethlehem, five citizens were taken prisoner following IOF raids on homes in Beit Jala town.
In Qalqilya, three Palestinians were injured and two teenagers were kidnaped during clashes that broke out after several Israeli military vehicles stormed the city. Two young men were shot in their legs with live bullets, while a woman suffered from inhaling tear gas during the events.
