OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Jerusalem youth movement on Thursday called for mobilization and heading to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque during the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah and the days of the blessed Eid al-Adha.
The movement emphasized the necessity of mobilizing to confront the ambitions of the Jewish settler groups and their ongoing Judaization schemes against the holy Islamic site, and in support of the steadfast and resisting people in Gaza.
The movement added, “Gaza is crying out to you and our Al-Aqsa is groaning,” stressing the need to mobilize to support Gaza and Al-Aqsa.
Palestinian calls continue for staying in Al-Aqsa to repel the attacks of the occupation forces and settlers and their growing ambitions to control it and to implement new Judaization plans. Calls have also been launched for staying and confronting the incursions of settlers in the first ten days of Thul-Hijja.
Dozens of settlers stormed the courtyards of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque on Thursday under tight Israeli police protection.
Jerusalemite sources reported that 208 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque this morning, as part of the celebration of the Jewish holiday of Shavuot. The Mosque witnessed the storming of 668 settlers yesterday, one of whom wore a Jewish prayer shawl (tallit), amid escort and protection by the Israeli occupation forces who emptied the Al-Aqsa Mosque of Muslim worshipers.
The Israeli forces imposed strict military measures and restrictions on the gates of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Old City in occupied Jerusalem. They prevent Muslim worshipers from entering the Mosque during the hours of the incursions, while settlers gather at some of the gates of Al-Aqsa to dance, sing, and perform Talmudic prayers.
