Jewish settler kills W. Bank teen with US citizenship, injures two others

RAMALLAH   (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A Palestinian child was martyred and two others were injured on Sunday evening when an extremist Jewish settler opened fire at them near Turmus Ayya town, northeast of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.

The martyr was identified as 14-year-old Omar Rabie. He had dual US-Palestinian citizenship.

Earlier, local sources said that an armed settler opened fire at a group of children near the town, injuring three of them before Israeli soldiers showed up and kidnaped one of the wounded kids, who was pronounced dead soon later.

The other kids, aged 14 and 15, were rushed to the hospital. One of them sustained a gunshot wound to his abdomen while the other was shot in the thigh, according to the Red Crescent.

Local sources also reported that Israeli forces obstructed the movement of ambulances leaving Turmus Ayya, deliberately blocking their way.
