SALFIT (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A horde of extremist Jewish settlers assaulted on Friday Palestinian farmers in Kafr ad-Dik town, west of Salfit in the north of the occupied West Bank.
According to local sources, settlers escorted by soldiers brutalized farmers in Khilat al-Haramiya area of the town, seized their sheep for a while and tried to prevent them from reaching their lands.
The sources said that Israeli soldiers intervened to protect the settlers and fired live ammunition and tear gas canisters at the farmers as they tried to defend themselves.
The soldiers also kidnaped five Palestinian farmers from the family of ad-Dik, four of them brothers.
