JORDAN VALLEY, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), A horde of extremist Jewish settlers stormed and ransacked Al-Tahadi School in the hamlet of Khirbet Ibziq, north of Tubas in the northern Jordan Valley, on Wednesday.
The settlers wreaked havoc on the school’s contents and bulldozed the road leading to it in an attempt to prevent students and staff from reaching it.
Azmi Balawneh, director of education in Tubas, said that the settlers stole educational tools and materials from the school, damaged its water, electricity, and internet networks, and blocked the road leading to it with stones and holes.
Balawneh noted that it was the second such attack by settlers against the school.
Palestinians in the northern Jordan Valley have endured long months of an unprecedented aggressive Israeli campaign aimed at undermining their presence in their areas and depriving them of their natural right to live on their land.
