AL-KHALIL(Palestine Foundation Information Center) A horde of extremist Jewish settlers attacked on Saturday morning Palestinian citizens and their property and stole 300 head of sheep in Jurat al-Khail village, east of al-Khalil in the occupied West Bank.
A local source said that dozens of settlers wearing military clothing stormed the shepherding community of Jurat al-Khail, stole 300 head of sheep, assaulted local residents, seized their cellphones, destroyed mobile homes, and damaged water tanks.
About five months ago, settlers had stolen 35 head of sheep from the same village.
Local officials believe that such settler crimes are aimed at forcing the villagers to leave the area as a prelude to carrying out settlement projects.
