OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A horde of extremist Jewish settlers stormed a Palestinian-owned house on Sunday in the Old City of Occupied Jerusalem and forcibly seized it.
According to local sources, the house is located in the Hosh al-Zurba area near the Old City’s Qatanin market, adjacent to the Al-Aqsa Mosque’s western wall.
The sources said that the settlers broke into and seized the house just days after the Palestinian woman who owned the house passed away, adding that those settlers held a celebration outside the house
Jewish settlers and societies supporting them use different methods to seize Palestinian real estate in the Old City of Jerusalem, including pressures, harassment and suspicious contracts, according to local officials.
Such land and home grabbing has been escalating for a while as a result of the absence of legal protection for the Jerusalemites and the Israeli police cooperation with settler societies, which actively work on Judaizing the holy city and expelling its native residents from their homes.
