JENIN, (The Palestine Foundation Pakistan)A Palestinian young man was martyred and another one was injured on Friday evening when the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) opened fire at them in Jenin City.
The Red Crescent said that its paramedics evacuated a martyr from the Cinema rotary in Jenin City to the hospital, adding that he died of bullet injuries in his abdomen and neck.
Another young man sustained a gunshot wound in the city and was transported to the hospital by a Red Crescent ambulance.
Local sources reported that Israeli forces stormed several neighborhoods of Jenin City and opened fire at civilians, injuring two of them.
The martyr was identified as 25-year-old Mohamed Salama. With his death, the number of Palestinians killed in Jenin province has surged to 71 martyrs since the beginning of the current year.
The IOF also kidnaped a young man during its raid in the city.
