GAZA,(Palestine Foundation Information Center )Lebanese sources reported on Tuesday evening that one person was killed, and several others were injured, after an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle in the town of Kfara, located in the Bint Jbeil district of southern Lebanon.
In a related development, Israel’s Army Radio announced that the military had carried out an assassination in southern Lebanon, targeting a Hezbollah member. However, no further details were provided regarding the individual’s identity.
Just a day earlier, two Lebanese civilians were killed in separate airstrikes launched by Israeli warplanes on western Bekaa in eastern Lebanon and Nabatieh in the south.
Israel continues to violate the ceasefire agreement with Hezbollah, carrying out repeated air raids on various areas in southern and eastern Lebanon. These strikes are often justified by claims of targeting weapons depots, infrastructure, or Hezbollah operatives. At the same time, Israel maintains its occupation of five strategic hilltops it seized during the recent war.
In October 2023, Israel launched a military offensive on Lebanon, which escalated into a full-scale war by September 2024. The war resulted in more than 4,000 deaths and nearly 17,000 injuries before a ceasefire agreement was reached in November 2024.
