Palestinian worker hurt amid Israeli operations in Northern Jordan Valley

JORDAN VALLEY, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), A Palestinian worker was injured by Israeli gunfire on Sunday evening near the apartheid wall built on the lands of Al-Ram town, north of Occupied Jerusalem.

Local sources reported that the worker was shot in the leg with live ammunition while attempting to reach his workplace in Occupied Jerusalem by crossing the wall in the Al-Ram area.

Israeli forces continue to target Palestinian civilians and workers trying to cross the separation wall to access their jobs in Occupied Jerusalem and within the 1948-occupied territories.

In this context, the Hebrew Channel 14 previously reported statements by extremist Israeli minister Itamar Ben Gvir, saying, “The current policy toward Palestinians who enter illegally from the West Bank is to shoot them.”

Arrests in the Jordan Valley

In a separate field development, Israeli occupation forces arrested three young men from the Northern Jordan Valley on Sunday evening.

The head of the Settlement Resistance Committee in Tubas Governorate, Moataz Bisharat, explained that the Israeli forces stormed Khirbet Al-Hadidiyah in the Northern Jordan Valley and arrested three young men, including two brothers.

Bisharat pointed out that the arrest came after direct incitement by settlers, who had earlier invaded Khirbet Al-Hadidiyah, threatened the residents with expulsion, and then summoned the Israeli army and police under the pretext of being pelted with stones.
