AMMAN (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Jordanian activists, who have been on hunger strike for two weeks in solidarity with Gaza, were rushed to hospital on Friday after deterioration of their health condition.
Dozens of activists went on hunger strike 14 days ago demanding the Jordanian government to exert pressure and take whatever possible measures to break the Israeli siege on Gaza Strip, especially in the northern areas.
Organizers of the strike said that the participants are adamant on going ahead with their strike despite the deterioration of their health status.
The participants, around 80 individuals, said they resorted to the hunger strike option after the Jordanian government failed to respond to any of their earlier protests calling for practical measures to end the Israeli genocide and war of starvation in Gaza.
