CAIRO, (The Palestine Foundation Pakistan)Delegations from Islamic Jihad and the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) are scheduled to join the Gaza ceasefire negotiations being held in the Egyptian city of Sharm el-Sheikh.
These delegations are expected to arrive in Sharm el-Sheikh on Wednesday evening, and their participation could help accelerate progress towards a ceasefire agreement, including an understanding on the issue of the Israeli captives held in the Gaza Strip.
A senior Islamic Jihad official said that these factional delegations joined the negotiations “to support the Palestinian national position and to work towards an agreement stopping the Israeli genocide against our people and ending their ongoing suffering.”
