AL-KHALIL, (The Palestine Foundation Pakistan)Three Palestinian children sustained bullet injuries on Thursday after the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed the central area of al-Khalil City to secure the access of extremist Jewish settlers to an archeological site.
According to local sources, a large number of Israeli troops escorted scores of settlers in the Bab al-Zawiya area and Beersheba street of central al-Khalil, where there is an ancient tomb.
The sources reported that the IOF completely sealed off the area, blocked the movement of Palestinian residents and vehicles, and forced storeowners to close their businesses.
The sources added that the army attacked local residents with live ammunition and toxic tear gas canisters, resulting in three children being shot in their legs.
The wounded kids were transferred to the hospital, where their injuries were described as moderate.
