Islamabad (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said that the attack on Iran aims to extend Israeli influence all the way to Pakistan’s borders. In a statement, he said that Zionism is a threat to humanity, and from the establishment of Israel on Palestinian soil to the present day, every calamity and war imposed on the Islamic world has been directly or indirectly driven by Zionist thought and the Israeli state. He added that Zionism has dominated the global economic system for over a century, and major powers are held hostage to Zionist interests.
Khawaja Asif emphasized that despite Iran’s willingness to honor agreements, war has been imposed on the country. He explained that the Zionist-planned agenda also seeks to expand Israel’s influence to Pakistan’s borders, making Afghanistan, Iran, and India part of a shared anti-Pakistan agenda. He warned that the plan aims to render Pakistan’s borders insecure, surround the country with enemies, and turn Pakistan into a vulnerable state. He urged all 250 million Pakistanis, regardless of sect or background, to understand this conspiracy and the eternal ambitions of Pakistan’s enemies.
The Defense Minister further stated that Pakistan is a nuclear power, and the strength of its armed forces is recognized worldwide with Allah’s grace. He acknowledged the sacrifices of martyrs and veterans for safeguarding Pakistan’s sovereignty and prayed for Allah’s blessings on all who contributed to Pakistan’s nuclear capability. He also saluted Nawaz Sharif for having the courage to authorize nuclear tests. Concluding his statement, he prayed for unity in the Islamic world, the recognition of enemies, the liberation of Palestine, the perpetual security of Pakistan, and Allah’s protection over its defenders.
