WEST BANK(Palestine Foundation Information Center)The Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) launched a large-scale arrest and raid campaign throughout the West Bank at dawn Thursday.
Local sources reported that the IOF stormed at least ten exchange shops, and confiscated more than 20 million shekels, claiming that they supported “terrorism.”
In Ramallah,a Palestinian young man was killed and 14 others were injured after the IOF violently stormed the city and broke into a number of exchange shops, arresting some of their owners.
The Israeli soldiers also stormed the Al-Ajouli family’s home and an exchange shop belonging to them in Ramallah.
Local sources reported that the Israeli forces stormed the Al-Tira neighborhood, raided a residential building, and interrogated its residents before arresting one of them.
The IOF also opened fire at a Palestinian car, injuring its driver.
In Nablus, a 17-year-old suffered a gunshot injury after being shot during an Israeli military raid into the city early today.
Local sources said that the IOF stormed the city and carried out a large-scale raid campaign against local currency exchange shops before arresting their owners.
In Tulkarem, the IOF stormed a number of currency exchange shops, seized their contents, and arrested their owners, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.
Several local homes were stormed and searched during the raids, while Israeli snipers took into the roofs of the buildings.
In Jenin, five Palestinians were injured in a drone attack in the Khaled Ibn al-Walid Mosque area.
The IOF stormed the city early today and broke into several local bank offices and currency exchange shops.
Similar raids were also carried out in Sanur, Jaba, Al-Zawiya, Anza, Bir Al-Basha, Al-Harba, and Qabatiya.
In al-Khalil, nine Palestinians were injured as clashes erupted in Halhul town after being stormed by IOF troops. Three children were among those injured.
Several local homes, a currency exchange shop, and a jewelry shop were stormed and violently searched during the raid. The IOF also confiscated their contents.
At least two arrests were reported during the raids.
In Jericho, a Palestinian was injured and three others were arrested after the IOF stormed the Ain al-Sultan camp.
