A Lebanese civilian was martyred on Monday morning following an Israeli drone strike that targeted his car on a public road in the town of al-Baisariyah in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese media sources.
Local sources said that an Israeli drone fired three missiles at the car, killing its driver instantly.
Two people were also killed in separate Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon on Sunday, according to the Lebanese health ministry.
The Israeli occupation forces continue to target homes, businesses, vehicles and motorcycles in different areas of southern Lebanon despite a ceasefire agreement that started on November 27, 2024.
Under the agreement, Israel was to withdraw all its forces from southern Lebanon, but these forces have remained at five Lebanese border positions.
