BEIRUT (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Four paramedics were killed in an Israeli air raid on southern Lebanon over the past 24 hours, the Lebanese Health Ministry said on Monday evening.
According to the health ministry, the Israeli air raid targeted 3 ambulances belonging to the Islamic Health Authority in southern Lebanon.
The attack resulted in the killing of 4 paramedics and severe damage to the ambulances.
The ministry denounced the “insistence of the Israeli army on violating international laws and humanitarian norms and targeting Lebanese medical and health teams.”
Since September 23, the Israeli occupation army has launched the most violent and extensive attack on Lebanon since the beginning of the confrontations with Hezbollah about a year ago.
Since then, more than 2,464 civilians were killed and 11,530 others were injured, including a large number of women and children, in addition to more than 1,340,000 displaced persons.
