BEIRUT (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Israeli occupation forces continue to escalate their bloody war on Lebanon for the 17th consecutive day through air and artillery bombardments, along with ongoing attempts to infiltrate towns and villages in southern Lebanon.
The Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Health reported that Israeli airstrikes since the beginning of the conflict have resulted in the deaths of 2,119 citizens and injuries to 10,019 others with varying degrees of wounds.
Early Wednesday morning, Israeli warplanes targeted the Al-Kafa’at area in the southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital, Beirut. The occupation forces conducted four airstrikes on the town of Al-Khiam in southern Lebanon.
The Lebanese Civil Defense announced that one civilian was killed and three citizens were injured in an Israeli strike on the town of Al-Saida, west of Baalbek in the eastern Bekaa region.
According to Lebanese sources, the toll from Israeli aggression on the Bekaa region has risen to 294 martyrs and more than 800 injured.
Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes on towns and villages in southern Lebanon, Nabatieh, the Bekaa, Baalbek-Hermel, and Mount Lebanon, on Thursday resulting in the death of 36 people and injuries to 150 others.
