GAZA, (The Palestine Foundation Pakistan)Jorge Moreira da Silva, Director of the UN Office for Project Services (UNOPS), stated that $52 billion will be required to begin the reconstruction of Gaza once a ceasefire is reached.
In a press briefing on Wednesday, da Silva noted that 80% of Gaza’s infrastructure has been completely destroyed.
He emphasized that removing the rubble will be the first step in rebuilding the Gaza Strip.
Earlier, the Government Media Office reported that the Israeli occupation army continues its brutal assault on the Palestinian people in Gaza, disregarding calls for a ceasefire made by US President Donald Trump, as well as the positive response given to the proposal.
