WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Senior Hamas official Mahmoud Mardawi has accused Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu, his government and army of sponsoring settler attacks and crimes in the West Bank.
In a statement on Sunday, Mardawi expressed his belief that the Palestinian people and their resistance would continue their struggle against the occupation despite all the Israeli attempts to break their will and undermine their fortitude.
“The occupation cannot be ended without real resistance,” Mardawi said, stressing that “the Gaza Strip is spearheading major resistance against the aggression despite the enemy’s escalating crimes.”
Mardawi called on the Palestinian masses in Jerusalem, the West Bank and 1948 occupied Palestine to stand strongly in the face of the Israeli government’s attempts to Judaize the Aqsa Mosque.
He also urged the Arab and Islamic countries to take effective action to protect the Aqsa Mosque against desecration and Judaization.
